Physiotherapy
Expert manual, exercise and therapeutic techniques to treat and manage pain, dysfunction and injury.
Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine
Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine technique where very thin needles are placed at specific points on your body. These points are believed to help balance your body’s natural energy (called "qi", pronounced chee), boost circulation, calm the nervous system and promote healing and recovery.
Other Treatments
Practitioners use various methods to restore balance and unblock Qi:
Herbal Medicine: Using teas, powders, or capsules made from plants, minerals, and occasionally animal products.
Tui Na: A form of therapeutic massage and bodywork.
Tai Chi & Qigong: Gentle movement and breathing exercises.
Dietary Therapy: Eating specific foods based on their "energetic" properties (e.g., cooling foods for a "hot" condition).
Psychotherapy
Registered Psychotherapy is a process where you talk with a trained professional to better understand your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, and to find healthier ways to cope with challenges in your life.
It provides a supportive space to work through things like anxiety, stress, grief, health problems, or feeling stuck. You’re not given advice or judged—instead, your therapist helps you explore what’s going on, build coping skills, and make meaningful changes to give you better quality of life.
Massage Therapy
Registered massage therapy, myofascial unwinding, cranial sacral therapy, manual lymphatic drainage, pregnancy massage, and Thai massage. Laura is highly adept at managing problems associated with Vestibular conditions including neck, jaw (TMJ) and facial tension, sinus drainage, tinnitus, dizziness and imbalance. Her goal is to help your overall health and wellbeing.
